MIssing Middle Housing

This infill development on a 60' x 135' Victoria residential lot consists of 4 ground oriented family homes gathered around a central pedestrian courtyard with vehicle access. The project is an example of "gentle densification" intended to provide more affordable market housing than what is possible under current single family zoning. The design complements existing traditional houses on the same block thru a variety of roof forms with a contemporary approach to materials, fenestration and detailing. Like urban townhouses, the front yards of both street facing dwellings feature entrance terraces defined by low walls with gates.
